My musical mentor is my cousin, who is a pianist. He helped me start my music journey and sparked my interest to learn how to play the piano and the ukulele, and has also been helping me put a virtual choir together for a project. He taught me to be proud of my voice, even on tough days when it seems like I can not sing anything correctly. We both know that I am not a perfect singer but he has helped me build confidence to continue doing what I love.
