A musical mentor in my life has been my choir teacher Ms. Triveri. I'm not an avid singer personally, yet joining choir has been a comfortable experience thanks to Ms. Triveri's reassurances in class. She makes sure that everyone's voice is heard and to consider everyone's questions and thoughts about our repertoire, sometimes about our personal lives as well. Hearing my choir teacher greet us at the beginning of rehearsal by saying "Hello Friends!" makes my day better, no matter how I'm feeling.
